The class enjoyed their four week block of Football skills, drills and games with coach Lorna.
We also had some extra help from one of the Hibs U18 players during week 3 which caused lots of excitement!

Our topic is The Romans and we are about to have a Roman feast which we are all looking forward to. Roam soldiers wore a helmet, tunic, armour and sandals. The held a shield and a sword. Gladiator games were very popular in Rome. The games were held in big arenas. A net-man used a net, a spear and a dagger. He tried to catch hi opponent with his net.
A chaser ran around the arena trying to catch his opponent. He wore a helmet and carried a shield and a sword.
The blind fighter couldn’t see anything! He ran around trying to fins his opponent. When the bumped into each other they would start fighting.

Roman mosaics were made of little bits of tile. We created a mosaic using the first letter of our name.
