Some suggestions for snowbound P5/6 pupils

Hello P5/6,

What a week! I expect you have been having a fun time in the snow, building snowmen and perhaps doing a bit of sledging.

When we get back to school I think we should write newspaper articles about our experiences in the snow.
Can you interview family and friends around Aberlady to get some good quotes for your articles?
If you have taken some photographs around Aberlady this week of snowy scenes, we could include them in your articles too.
You could also collect some good examples of articles from the newspapers reporting on the effects of the snow.
Have you spotted any catchy headlines?

It would be good if you could keep up with your reading and tables practice too.

Keep safe! See you all soon.

‘Wear Red to Remember’ at Aberlady

Last Thursday, to commemorate Remembrance Day, the Charity Committee encouraged everyone to wear something red to remember  those who have fought in the wars for us. We also ran a competition to design a poster reminding us of the importance of Remembrance Day. K. won the competition with a brilliant poster.

We raised over £120 for Poppyscotland. Well done, everyone
