Supporting Mental Wellbeing in Schools

Supporting Mental Wellbeing in Schools
Thursday 28th September | Central Edinburgh | CPD Certified

With new reports showing 19 young people in Scotland are let down by mental health systems every day, the Scottish government has made it a national priority to improve mental wellbeing in schools. Following the launch of the Scottish Government’s new 10 year Mental Health Strategy, it is now essential for schools, charities and local authorities to ensure an inclusive strategy is in place to prevent poor mental health becoming a barrier to achievement. For this reason, I am pleased to invite you and your colleagues to attend the one-day training course, ‘Supporting Mental Wellbeing in Schools’, running in Edinburgh on Thursday 28th September. Chaired by education consultant and mental health champion Hugh Smith, delegates on this course will take away an action plan to implement best practice in supporting the mental wellbeing of both pupils and staff at your school.
