Elementary Food Hygiene (Refresher Training)

Designed for:

All staff working in an Education setting, childminder, playgroup or after school club who wish to  update their food hygiene knowledge. Delegates attending this course must currently hold a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent no more than 5 years old

Course aim:

To provide delegates with theoretical information and practical advice in order to update their food hygiene knowledge

Benefits of attending:

On completion of the course, participants will:

    • Handle food using good hygiene practice
    • Achieve the required temperatures for food preparation and storage
    • Reduce the risk of contamination and food poisoning
    • Clean and disinfect effectively
    • Achieve high standards of personal hygiene
    • Outline, briefly, the legislative requirements relating to food safety


At the end of the course there is a short 30 question multiple choice test; on successful achievement a certificate will be issued by Sandra Williamson Training Consultancy
