Out of Cardiac Arrest Young Scot Media Campaign
Students Eilidh and Harry Newton were invited to the press release and launch of the Out of Cardiac Arrest Young Scot media campaign this week in Edinburgh.
Their family has been committed to helping improve the outcomes of people who suffer a cardiac arrest in the community. Eilidh and Harry were instrumental in helping save their father’s life in 2014 and have taken part in many events promoting CPR and defibrillator locations.
They were invited to take part in the Young Scot Campaign and also the Chest Heart and Stroke online resource initiatives.
Young Scot has produced an interactive app which features Eilidh and Harry and they have also produced a video showing Eilidh’s call to 999, remaining calm and being instructed on what to do.
This was a big honour for Eilidh and Harry, well done!
