Joyeux Noël!

We have all been learning some Christmas songs in French. We have  enjoyed singing “Jingle Bells” this week “Vive le Vent” which is all about the wind whistling through the fir trees.

We have all been finding out about Easter in France this week. We discovered that it is the church bells that deliver the Easter eggs in France. They stop ringing from the Thursday to fly to Rome and on their way back they drop the eggs in the children’s gardens.

We also found out that on April Fool’s Day in France the children all make paper fish to stick on everyone’s backs! You can make your own!

P6/7 at Dirleton had a French afternoon with the P1/2s. They made crêpes and helped them to make Easter cards. Voici quelques photos..

et une chanson aussi! Bonnes vacances à tous!
