We have all been very busy preparing our presentations in French. The P6 classes have been telling us all about their families and the P7s have revised all their P6 work and have learnt how to describe what they look like. Et oui .. on a bien travaillé! Voici quelques photos!

In P6 we have all been learning to talk about the weather. Et oui .. en Ecosse il fait mauvais! We have been saying that a lot in our classes these last few weeks along with “il pleut et il fait froid”! Quel temps fait-il en France? Voici la météo!
In P7 we have all been learning how to describe where we live and what our houses are like. We have been writing to our French penpals and have made houses to send to them. Voici quelques photos. Un grand bravo à tous et à toutes!
We have all been finding out about Easter in France this week. We discovered that it is the church bells that deliver the Easter eggs in France. They stop ringing from the Thursday to fly to Rome and on their way back they drop the eggs in the children’s gardens.
We also found out that on April Fool’s Day in France the children all make paper fish to stick on everyone’s backs! You can make your own!
P6/7 at Dirleton had a French afternoon with the P1/2s. They made crêpes and helped them to make Easter cards. Voici quelques photos..
