We have been creating houses for the 3 little pigs using a variety of media. Lexi said that it was ‘great fun!’. We used red card for the brick house, spaghetti and straws for the straw house and wooden sticks for the wooden house.
We have been enjoying learning our numbers in class. We have liked it so much that some of us are playing ‘teachers’ and using the numbers to play some games. Maia said ‘I like pretending to be the teacher and teach people numbers!’
P7A have taken on the responsibility of starting a Twitter account for the school. On it, we will let you know what’s happening in the school and what all the classes are up to. We will keep it updated throughout the year – be sure to follow us to keep up-to-date with everything to do with Pinkie St Peter’s!
Yesterday, the P1 teachers got an email from the dragon! He had been in the school at night time when we had all gone home and was looking around our classrooms! We couldn’t believe it! He was looking at our wonderful artwork we have completed for the fairytales and some of our writing too. We wonder what he will do next! Here is the video he sent to us:
Today, we went out to the playground to explore symmetry further. Miss Nuttall and Mrs Denham gave the children half of a picture and the children had to draw the other half with chalk! This was quite challenging but we had great fun!! We then decided to form some of our numbers and sounds! Lastly we formed our names!!
