Hallowe’en bugbusters!

Bust those Bugs! on PhotoPeach

I’m sure there’s lots of ghostbusters in Prestonpans this week but at Prestonpans Infants,we’re all going BUGBUSTING. It started today when Ms Laing bugbusted Mrs Kettell’s hair at assembly, much to the children’s delight. Look at their faces. (We’re sorry the photos are so dark.) Each child got a comb to take home so that this weekend, somewhere in the midst of the Hallowe’en fun, each child can get their hair checked and cleaned. Mrs Graham’s class will get their combs on Monday. Now it’s your turn to BUGBUST and do all you can to keep lice away from Prestonpans Infant School.

About Sheila Laing

Having lived and worked in West Pilton, Edinburgh for 30 years, I am now really happy to be living in Port Seton and Headteacher of Prestonpans Infant School. What excites me about working in schools is the opportunity to nurture children, families and communities to learn and to celebrate life and learning. Since 2005, I have been inspired by the community of Burmese refugees in Mae Sot, Thailand, who struggle against incredible odds to give the best education possible to their children. I've been honoured to spend time with them each summer and pray the changes in Burma will give freedom to her people.
