Today Primary 2/3 shared their work they have been doing since the Summer, with the rest of the school.
The children showed us a variety of different ways they have been learning; through pictures, photos, speech, dancing and singing.
The children learnt about skeletons, the bones inside our bodies, and why we really need them!! The children sang and danced to ‘Dem Bones, dem bones!”
They also told us about their project about the building of our new school, and how they visited the site.
They changed the lyrics of “Bob the Builder” to represent what they saw on their visit.
Thank you so much for sharing what you have been doing with us.

Primary 2/3 are learning the poem ‘My Doggie’ for the Burns Supper.
My wee doggie
does lots of tricks,
Fetches the paper,
Brings back sticks.
Chases aw the craws,
That steal the hen’s feed,
Lowps through a gird,
kids he’s deid.
Sits on his hunkers,
Gies a paw,
Then he gets a bane to gnaw.

P2/3 have been working hard making skeletons. The Primary 3 children have added pelvises, arms and legs so far.
The Primary 2 children are nearly ready to paint their skulls. We hope to be finished by Christmas.
We are working hard at the moment learning the songs for Hosanna Rock, our Christmas production.
We are also making lots of items to sell at the Christmas Fair on the 7th of December.
