Scotland’s Play Charter – take the pledge

Play Scotland is promoting Scotland’s first inclusive Play Charter. This describes a collective commitment to play for all babies, children and young people in Scotland.

The charter is for parents, play providers, play champions and everyone with an interest and/or responsibility for play in Scotland.

It builds on the Scottish Government’s National Play Strategy and the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) approach to supporting children, young people and their families.

Tackling Fuel Poverty Together: Free Training Event

The Community Liaison and Partnership Team at Home Energy Scotland is running two free training and networking events which are designed to bring together individuals and organisations committed to tackling fuel poverty.

The training will provide an insight into the causes and effects of fuel poverty as well as the support available from Home Energy Scotland to tackle this issue. More information on the course content, dates of training and venue can be found here tackling fuel poverty together training.
