th9RHDEJ66Edinburgh Zoo comes to QMU- 17th June

We have the Wild About Scotland Zoo bus coming to QMU on Friday 17th June for an exclusive CU Fridays opportunity. This is open for P5-S2s so please feel free to promote out as much as you can. I have attached a flier and have also popped a few in the post to you along with a poster.

The deadline for pupils to sign up is 12pm on 3rd June and there are very limited spaces so a space is not guaranteed until I confirm places after 3rd.

Just for your information here is a link to the Wild About Scotland site-

Please note, that like all of our CU Fridays here at QMU, this workshop is completely FREE.

CU Summer School- 1st-5th August

We have been busy planning our first ever summer school and would like to promote this out to your schools first and foremost.

We would like to begin promoting this and so if possible I would like to arrange a time in June where I could potentially come and speak about this during an assembly.

This is just for P6 and 7 pupils as we are aiming to use this as a transition aid especially for the P7s before they move to high school.

Please can you let me know whether it would be possible to promote during an assembly and we can look at some dates.

This is also a free opportunity for pupils and we are in the process of securing funding for transport to and from Queen Margaret to ensure all pupils have the chance to take part.

Children’s University Scotland are organising a beach clean at Portobello beach on Sunday 1st May 2-4pm. Starting at the Beach House Café.

Children’s University participants will get learning credit for their time! All the information is on the attached flier with how to sign up. More information on this site-
