End of term

Dear Parent

It is hard to believe we are in the midst of summer but whatever the weather we are coming to the end of another school year and all looking forward to the holidays.  It has been another very busy and successful year and in August you will be able to read about what we’ve achieved and what we have planned for 2015/2016.

As always at this time we say goodbye but also hello.  Goodbye to Ms Lorna Macdonald who has been teaching P5 since Christmas.  Lorna has thrown herself into life at Yester Primary and we will miss her.  Fortunately she will still be in our Cluster, teaching nursery in Haddington Infants next year.  We welcome back Mr Iain Devereux along with I am sure several more bad jokes! We say goodbye to several of our pupils also and wish them well in their new schools and communities.  Good luck to:Lottie, Ava M, Toby, Mimi, Fergus M, Polly, Grace, Jamie, Ross, Harry and  Holly B and of course our wonderful P7s as they start the next chapter of their schooling.

I hope that whatever you do and wherever you are you have a lovely summer and we look forward to seeing you all in August.
