Education Scotland has just published a new principles and practice document for modern languages including new learning statements for P7.

The European Day of Languages is celebrated across Europe on the 26th September. One of its aims is to raise awareness of the importance of lifelong language learning. As we prepare to introduce French to all our P1 pupils in October you may wish to use this opportunity to raise the profile of languages in your schools.
