In handwriting today, we had great fun making patterns (and a big mess) with shaving foam! Mrs Jamieson and Lesley put some shaving foam onto the desks for us and we practised making our patterns. We also wrote our names using joined writing.

After Mud Kitchens this morning, we showed our Buddies what to do at playtime. We played games like “Tig” and “Hide and Seek.” After a drink and snack, we went up to the field to play some rugby with Scott. What a busy morning!

A few important pieces of information…
- A reminder that it is our School Sport’s Day tomorrow (Tues 3rd June.) The children can come to school dressed in sporty clothes and should bring a waterproof jacket, even if it looks sunny in the morning. We are aiming to start our potted sports around 10 o’clock, finishing for an outdoor lunch/picnic at 11:30. Ice-cream cones will be on sale for 50p at lunchtime. Races will start around 1:30. Hopefully the weather will hold. All parents welcome to join us!
- There will be no reading for Bees, Ants or Butterflies tomorrow – we’ll be too busy with Sport’s Day. They should bring their reading bags as usual on Thursday.
- REPORT CARDS were put into school bags this afternoon (overseen by an adult.) I hope you enjoy reading about the progress your child has made over the year. Please sign and leave a comment before sending the tear off slip back to school.
