We joined our Buddies in Nursery for a visit from the Fire Service! They told us about fighting fires and how we can prevent them. We also got a shot of the hose!
Brilliant fun!

We worked with our Nursery Buddies this morning. Mrs Munro and Mrs Jamieson had exciting news for us. We are hoping that the fire engine will come to school next Monday!
The Firefighters asked if we would do a little work together before they came to talk to us.
They asked us to watch this film about the importance of staying safe near matches.

Next, we helped our Buddies to colour in some pictures for the firefighters.

Our lovely Dinner Ladies invited us along to the lunch hall this morning to taste some fruits and smoothies. We took our Nursery Buddies too. Some of the fruits were very exotic and Debbie told us the names of them. We had a great time!

Great excitement this week when we joined with our Nursery Buddies to see some creatures from Zoo Lab – snake, rat, giant snail, cockroach and toad. Some brave children even held or touched them!

Our Ceilidh to day was fantastic – thank you to all those who came along to support us.
For those of you who didn’t manage to drop by, here are some photos. I think there may be more “action shots” on the P1/2 class website too!

Glad the website is up and running again. (Still waiting for new projector and wand though!)

We couldn’t get into the gym hall this week as it was being used by some visiting scientists (we will have our turn in a few weeks…)

However, we still worked with P1/2 in their classroom to prepare for our Ceilidh on Monday, 9th March at 1:30.

We made some tartan rosettes to wear. Fair braw!

Another catastrophe in the North Pole!
Rudolph kicked over the magic reindeer dust and Santa asked us to make some with our Nursery Buddies.
The Elf on the Shelf even told us the rhyme to put the magic in the dust…..but don’t ask the children…..it’s top secret!

We met our Nursery Buddies today and helped them with their first piece of work!

(There is a post on the Nursery webpage with photos of us with our Buddies- please take a look!)

We worked together to make drawings of what we like to do.

Mrs Jamieson and Mrs Munro put our work up in the cloakroom. It looks great! Please pop in and have a wee look next time you are passing.:)

Another busy morning in Primary 1!
Our Buddies from P7 came to join us to help us make books about Biff, Chip and Kipper. Mrs Jamieson is going to send them home in reading bags on Wednesday and Thursday. It would be great if you could support at home by asking the children to point to the pictures and say the character’s name.
