Fingers and Thumbs

It’s a good job we had on clean socks and tights today as we took part in an art workshop organised by Dawn and Marian from a company called Fingers and Thumbs. We had one of our feet covered in white paint and used it to make a print which we then turned into a ghost. Spooky!

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Tea Party

Wow!! Thank you to all the mums, dads, grannies, grandpas and friends who came to our tea party. It was a huge success. The Primary 2 children worked very hard to make a selection of sandwiches – ham, cheese and salame – and chocolate crispies, which were all devoured very quickly! Thank you to Inika’s mum, Lorna, for the delicious lemon drizzle cakes, that was so kind of you and to Mandy for all your help, as always. We finished off the morning by singing ‘My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean’ and ‘What shall we do with the Drunken Sailor’. We hope you all enjoyed the morning as much as we did.

Mrs Kemp and Primary 2

PS sorry there weren’t any cakes left for you, Mrs Hilsley..!
