The tweenies have been planting cress seeds in yogurt pots using cress seeds and wet cotton wool and have been helping to water them. They have enjoyed watching them grow.

Pirates

We have had a very piratey week in pre-school. The children have used teabags to make treasure maps, have created a 3D pirate ship and have went on a REAL treasure hunt in the garden using our new metal detectors!

Baby Animals and Farms

This week one of our toddlers went to east links family park and visited the new baby lambs. They were very excited and we have been talking lots about baby animals and farms. We also went to visit pre-school and watched a DVD about animals and their babies and played an interactive game.

The baby room have been doing baking this week making wheat, dairy and egg free cake for all the babies to enjoy. They have been really interested in reading lots of stories all week and have especially enjoyed reading about Iggle Piggle’s adventures in our In the Night Garden stories.
