Building Foundations for the Future!

We have had lots of visitors from the toddler room recently and are having fun helping to settle our new friends in.  We would like to welcome Eva into pre-school, she is settling beautifully. Pre-school have been learning about minibeasts.  We went on a minibeast hunt in the garden to see how many different bugs we could find.  We found a centipede which we took inside so we could inspect it more with the microscope. Helen also found lots of snails and brought them into nursery and they spent the day in a tray of dirt in pre-school.  The children had fun feeding them fruit and vegetables and watching them throughout the day.  We were also learning about stranger danger.  We learnt a new song called stranger danger by Patty Shukla and read a few new stories about strangers.  The children are currently in the process of helping to turn our home corner into a shop.
