Pre-school have been very busy this month. We have been focussing on learning about winter Рthis has included ice play, talking about seasons and the different types of weather associated with those seasons. We have been using torches and mirrors to look at reflections and learning about winter animals. We hope to make icicles soon! We have also been learning about fireworks night and made some glittery pictures. We drew some pictures to help raise money for Children in Need which our mummies and daddies made a kind donation to take home, and we dressed up as super heroes and princesses. We created some beautiful poppies for Rememberance Day and participated in a two minute silence. We will also be discussing and learning about St Andrews day before the end of the month.

25th of November Р1st December is book week in Scotland. We plan to have a BIG BOOK BASH in Pre-school Рthis is a simple celebration of reading! We will be creating our own books and stories and bringing our favourite books to nursery and talking about why we like them the best. The children will also have the opportunity to dress up as pirates in the story corner and to get involved in pirate arts and crafts.

Pre-school would also greatly appreciate any junk that parents could hand in to use for junk modelling.
