We would like to welcome all the new babies to the baby room and hope they are settling in well to their new setting. The children have been enjoying going on walks to the local parks and have had lots of fun on the slides and chutes they are also enjoying going out to the nursery garden and exploring this environment. We have also been exploring a variety of materials such as shaving foam, shredded paper and water developing our knowledge and confidence with textures. We have also been creating some fantastic displays using paint, glue and other resources along with our fingers, glue sticks and paint brushes to create some beautiful masterpieces which are currently on display in our room. A few of the children have recently visited the farm with their mummies and daddies and we have extended this interest by bringing out the farm yard an animals for the children to explore and have created a lovely farm yard display using a variety of textures to represent the animals the children have seen.
