Pre-school have been learning all about their bodies and how to look after them. We have been learning all the names for our body parts and created a display by using mirrors to look at our bodies and draw a variety of different parts. We have also been interested in mini beasts we will be creating and completing a survey of what mini beasts we find in the garden and we will discuss the different patterns that the creatures have and look at the differences in their body parts such as their legs and wings etc. We have been developing our knowledge of letters and as the children have been participating in transitions to school we have been participating in a lot of role play specific to going to school. Some of the children have been on visits to the beach and we are beginning to introduce this topic into our planning. We would like to welcome all the Toddlers who are transitioning into pre-school and hope they are all settling in well. We also have two new staff members beginning their induction into the pre-school room they are Sonia and Meghan.

The pre-school graduation will be held on Saturday the 19th of July we cannot wait to show you everything the children have been practicing!
