Building Foundations for the Future!

Filed under: Rainbows — Argyle Bridge Children's Nursery at 2:22 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2014

Toddlers have been participating in transporting with the sand and water into the home corner and have been using the sand indoors and out to create some beautiful sandcastles. We have enjoyed building with the lego developing our fine-motor-skills to make some fantastic towers. The toddlers have also been interested in the topic of families and have brought in their own photos from home to make a family tree. We are currently introducing book of the week idea where we focus on a new story every two weeks this fortnight our story is “Dinosaurs” which has encouraged the children to make their own dinosaurs and to participate in role play with the dinosaur figures. We would like to welcome the tweenies that are transitioning in to the toddler room and hope they are all settling in well! This transition is being supported by Lisa who is now working alongside Karen and Rhianna in the toddlers.
