The babies have been enjoying going out for walks and collecting Autumn leaves, conkers and sticks. We have used our outing to help the children to create an Autumn display  using a variety of different creative activities. We have also updated our sensory bottles to make them relevant to what the children are seeing outside on a daily basis and the children have a renewed interest in this resource.

The children are currently very interested in climbing and the staff have introduced the indoor balancing beam on a few occasions to help to develop their gross motor skills alongside their spatial awareness and depth perception. The children have had lots of fun exploring this resource and learning how to use it safely.

We have been developing our ability of listening to and following instructions by making play dough and doing baking activities, making rice crispy cakes. They really enjoyed exploring the texture of the flour salt and water for the play dough and the rice crispies and chocolate when making their cakes!
