This month in the Tweenie Room we have been working on behaviours with in the room through sharing toys and turn taking during activities. We have been participating in lots of group activities and focuses on doing large groups and smaller groups to help the children understand their own and their friends’ feelings.

Over the Halloween period the children have been getting very messy exploring the different textures of mushy peas, jelly, coloured ice in spooky shapes, some spaghetti ‘worms’ in the water tray and carving our scary pumpkin. The children used potato stamps to create some pumpkin pictures with orange paint, they used their hands to print with black paint to make some spooky spiders and white paint on their feet to make ghosts. At our Halloween party our teachers and tweenies all dressed up and we did lots of dancing, climbing and jumping on the soft play!
