Building Foundations for the Future!

Babies have been going for winter walks around the Tranent looking at the trees without leaves and wrapping up warm during the cold weather. We have been making our winter display and added snowflakes. Babies have been splashing in white glittery water made to look like snow.

Babies have started their Christmas gluing and paintings. We painted our feet brown and added antlers and googly eyes with a red nose for our Rudophs and allowed the children to express themselves with white paint and provided glue and hats, noses and eyes for them to make their ‘Melted Snowman’ pictures. All the children and teachers painted their hands green and we made our own Christmas tree.

We had lots of fun at our party were we had a surprise visit from the Christmas fairy and all were given a present. Babies enjoyed dancing and eating their party food!

We have an informal parents evening on Monday 12th January from 6-8pm where you will have the opportunity to come along and speak to staff about GIRFEC and see your child’s progress. We hope you will be able to come along.
