This month babies have been exploring their senses, we have had lots of different activities including mint and coconut scented play-doh, mushy peas and jelly play. We have used natural resources in our sand and water such as shells, stones and drift wood.

We also made a sensory wall with bumpy, smooth and rough materials the babies glued with.

We have been learning about the weather, going out in the garden and for walks in the buggy. We have been chatting about the sun, wind and rain. The babies have done some gluing and painting, and we made a sun, cloud/rain and rainbow mobile which is hanging in the bathroom for the babies to look at whilst getting their nappy changed.

The babies have done various other art activities including printing, gluing, painting and drawing some of which are on our art gallery for everyone to see.

The babies have been showing lots of interest in the story corner since the new pictures have been added to the wall. The babies have been learning simple words and sounds and enjoying listening to some short stories.
