Argyle Bridge Children's Nursery

Building Foundations for the Future!

Babies

Filed under: Caterpillars — Argyle Bridge Children's Nursery at 8:15 pm on Monday, July 13, 2015

The babies have been enjoying getting out for lots of walks, they have visited the local parks and played ball games on the grass. They have been to the local care home when they had an open day as well as going to the library for ‘bookbug’ sessions. After our summer walks they have been making flowers, butterflies, bees and ladybirds which have been put together to make a lovely summer display! Photos of the children taking part are being added to the display.

Some of the babies have shown an interest in the kitchen area and play food. They have had picnics with the dollies and cooking in the little kitchen.

The babies are being encouraged to develop their independence with the aid of a portable sink, for them to access. This makes it easier for them to wash their own hands with the support of staff. As soon as the sink is brought out the older babies crawl straight over!

We would like to welcome Rosie and Grace whom have just started in the baby room!
