Building Foundations for the Future!

Baby Room

Filed under: Caterpillars — Argyle Bridge Children's Nursery at 12:01 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2016

The babies have enjoyed some lovely walks in the sunshine, making good use of our quad buggies! We have been to see some chickens and horses along beside Polson park and had a play at the park too.

We have also spent some time exploring various textures, from paint to collecting dry leaves from in the garden – which we have used to create some art work to display in the baby room. Also we have been mixing water into our dry sand to feel the difference and explore this texture.

Some of the children are becoming more steady on their feet, so staff have been setting up different activities on the round table for them to stand and play. This is developing ther gross motor skills, while the table top resources have been focusing on their fine motor skills too.
