Tweenies have been getting involved with the community alot this month, going on walks to the local library and choosing books that interest us, such as books about pirates, beaches and farm. We have also been along to a local farm to have a look at the chickens and horses and have been practicing our animal noises.

We have been very creative this month; create marks on paper using paint and glue. We have also been using different materials such as leaves and shells and have been decorating them with glitter, googly eyes and feathers. We have been practicing our waiting skills as we wait for a shot of the glue spreader.

Tweenies have been having lots of fun splashing in the water. They have been developing their gross-motor skills by stomp their feet and jumping in the water. Tweenies have also been working on their fine moron skills as they scooped the water up using a cup and with careful hand-eye coordination pour the water into different containers and down tubes and slides back into the tray.
