The ladybirds have been spending a lot of time outdoors exploring the leaves and playing in the mud kitchen. The wet weather turned the mud very stodgy so the children have really enjoyed digging in it and making mud cakes!
We have also been doing lots of arts and crafts in the run up to Christmas and decorating our room with all of the winter and Christmas things we have made. We have been very busy doing our enterprise activities and had a lot of fun making clay tree decorations and calendars.
The children have been exploring different temperatures with warm and cold water and telling the teachers how they feel on their hands.
The ladybirds have also been role playing doctors and nurses and taking care of each other with bandages and listening to each others heartbeat through the stethoscopes.
We have been offering a variety of different snacks for the children to taste. We have had English muffins and bagels and watermelon which all of the children have loved!
