Dragonflies have been super busy this month. We have had lots of good news, some of our children were big brothers or sisters over the holidays and we got to share our news on the first day back. We have been focusing a lot on using our voice to express our choices and opinions and interests in areas we might like to learn more about. We have used our group time to discuss our interests and thoughts with our key workers we then drew our interest on thinking clouds and hung them up on our thinking tree we will then plan for our learning and evidence this in our talking thinking floorbook. Dragonflies would like to welcome, Freddie.Ben,Rosie,Jacob and Roman into out room they are settling in brilliant and all of the Dragonflies are fantastic and helping the you get children adjust to the room. We are showing an interest in dinosaurs and emergency vehicles so stand by for more learning. We have really enjoyed experiencing the ice in the garden and hunting around all the areas to find more buckets, tubs and toys with ice in them. We then used sold and tools found out in the garden to melt the ice before discovering that the water container which collects rain water had frozen solid too.
