Building Foundations for the Future!

Ladybirds, February 2018

This month we have welcomed some new friends into the Ladybird Room from the Butterfly room. We have been taking part in small group activities to give the children time to build relationships with the Ladybird Room staff such as painting, making play dough and reading stories.

We have changed the room a round a little as the Ladybirds have been showing a lot of interest in the transport and watching the buses and lorries passing our window. With the move of the construction corner to next to the window the children are able to run the different cars and trains along the window ledge while also watching the real thing go past! We also decorated houses and tress using paint and pens which has helped to create a village to help develop their imaginations!

The ladybirds have been out in the garden lots this month too with their wetsuits on! We have enjoyed exploring the cold snow and ice and splashing I’m the puddles!
