Ladybirds – April and May 2018

In April we took part in a litter pick with Sandersons Wynd Primary School. We went to different locations around Tranent to collect the litter. The Ladybirds went to Sandersoms Wynd Primary where we collect litter before putting it into our black bags. We also developed our fine motor skills by using a litter picker to pick up the litter in the trees. Well done Ladybirds.

We have also been developing our gross motor skills in the garden. We have been practicing climbing up the steps to the slide with no support, we have also been to the park where we have been developing our sills further. We have been enjoying the warmer weather and have had lots of water play in the garden! We have been using thr rods to catch the plastic fish, scooping and pouring the water down the guttering and splashing with our shoes off!

The Ladybird room have changed its lay out so that we can introduce roll on snack. The children have enjoyed the changes and are getting used to the routine of snack (they are particularly like washing their hands in the room with our new travel sink). We have also brought in an art easel where the children have been creating beautiful pictures with a range of resources!
