Ladybirds, August 2018
We’ve had a busy month exploring our ‘story of the month’ – We’re going on a bear hunt! We went searching for stick while looking for the bear, which we then brought back to nursery and used with paint to make marks on our paper.
The Ladybirds also enjoyed getting messy with ‘thick oozy mud’ which we used with glue and paint to create pictures using our imagination and memory recall from the story book! The children particularly liked painting themselves with the mud and paint!!
This minth we have been practicing putting our jackets on independently, and with encouragement and support from our teachers we are able to do so! To build on our new found skills we have also been practicing putting in our own clothes independently after quiet time and pulling up our own trousers after we have had our nappies changes. Well done Ladybirds!
