Building Foundations for the Future!

May 2019

This month the ladybirds have been interested in different kinds of animals! We have visited pre school a number of times to check on the ducks that have been hatching and have been keeping an eye on their progress every day (and the caterpillars/butterflies). We have also introduced stick insects to our room that we will need to look after and feed. They haven’t hatched yet – but we have been watching everyday!
We have introduced new flash cards to our story corner with different animals, and have been exploring the different tuft spots set out in the room. The tuft spots have included safari animals, mini beasts and different transport (diggers, tractors, bus’s) which the ladybirds have been really interested in.
We have continued visiting the care home this month and building relationships with the residents through different activities.
