Scots Assembly

Mr Austin piped the whole school through the village today as we had a Scots Assembly in the Village Hall. Each class had worked hard to learn a Scottish song and poem which they performed to a large audience of pupils, parents and relatives. Primary 6 and 7 had learnt some of Robert Burns’ poetry. They performed Address to a Haggis and Tam O’Shanter. Mrs Paterson’s Scottish Country Dance Club also performed for us. It was a fantastic afternoon!
