Primary 1 were delighted to take part in a very interesting senses workshop this afternoon. Andrew came from the Seabird Centre with lots of objects from under the sea for the children to look at, touch and even listen to! He also brought in some hermit crabs for the children to observe and he talked about how these amazing sea creatures use their senses to keep themselves safe. At the end the boys and girls pretended that they were hermit crabs and came out of their shells very carefully making sure that there were no seagulls hovering nearby. Many thanks to Andrew for helping us with our topic and well done boys and girls for listening so effectively for information.
