Camp Update Day 3

While hillwalking on Wednesday one group spotted an adder.  One group were raft building  and thought it was funny to tip Miss Salmon over and leave her stranded, she saw the funny side too!  Our children needed to be woken this morning just before 8am,  we do have some tired children.  Food is still aplenty and all are enjoying the huge portions and cooked breakfast.  This morning the campers awoke to t- shirt weather, a stark contrast to arrival day.  Tonight is the disco!

P7 Camp Day 2

It was another wet and soggy day but it did not hold back any of our pupils  taking part and enjoying what was on offer.  Last night they worked in groups for the egg challenge, Farmers Den game and snakes & ladders (games with a twist!)

Food has been overflowing and our pupils are ‘filling their boots’ with shepherds pie, chicken and bacon rolls.

All were fast asleep much quicker last night.

P7 Camp Day 1

All arrived safely to heavy rain. After taking part in crate climbing, archery, nightline and burn walking which was more like a swim than a walk we have happy but very  muddy children. It took a while to get to sleep and most woke very early, this is the norm. By Thursday they will be asleep by 9pm! Despite nerves about dorm and activity groupings we can report that all have settled REALLY well.
