Aberlady Primary Children in Need
Last Friday Aberlady Primary raised money for Children in Need. They dressed up in lots of great costumes and the teachers took part as well. The pupils brought a pound or more and they have already reached over £400 and are still counting. They walked around Aberlady and the locals put money in buckets they carried around with them. The children said they really enjoyed it and it was great how much they raised for charity!

The Charity Club organise “Shades Day”
The Charity Club invited pupils and staff to pay to take part in “Shades Day” on Friday. This was in support of the Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Hospital for Sick Children in Edinbugh. There were lots of cool sunglasses and sunhats in evidence – as well as several bears to show that we care! Thank you to everyone who took part and thank you to the Charity Club for all of your good work this year.

Marvellous Monday
This Monday was indeed marvellous as it was the first time that the charity club hosted visitors from the community for a games afternoon. All who attended had a lot of fun and we are looking forward to next Monday as our visitors will return for a further afternoon of games, tea, coffee and cakes. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the event such a success!
