After a lovely long holiday we are all happy to be back at school. It is lovely to see the new Primary one children and also to see everyone else looking that bit more grown up! We have a busy term ahead and are very much looking forward to it.
Primary 6 and 7 gave two fantastic performances of ‘The Dracula Rock Show’ yesterday. Their singing, dancing and acting was absolutely outstanding and was enjoyed by all. Thank you Primary 6 and 7 for an enjoyable show and a special thanks to Miss Campbell and Mrs Mackay for all of your hard work!
Members of the Chess Club attended their first competition at Dunbar Primary this week and we won! Well done to the team, we are very proud of your wonderful achievement. Thank you to Mrs Douglas for organising the event and coaching the children so well.
Primary 6 held a wonderful assembly recently all about their talents. They talked about the fact that we are all good at something and that we should celebrate our talents and congratulate others on their achievements. They then showed us their talents; these included singing, dancing, guitar playing, magic tricks and sports skills. Thank you Primary 6 for a wonderful assembly – you are a talented bunch!
PC Parker told us lots of interesting stories and facts. She let us try on her uniform and she also showed us all her cool gadgets. My favourite was the pepper spray. She is going to come back again to teach us self defence.
P.C. Parker also explained all about the items on her uniform to help keep her safe e.g electronic notebook, mobile phone/radio, spray, baton and handcuffs.
