Because I spoil you all rotten, the next volunteer group will be our annual ‘holiday’ to Yellowcraig on Thursday (5th) where we all get to enjoy the beautiful view over the beach and out to Treasure Island… as we hoik out Pirri-pirri plants in the dunes. We’ll team up with the Yellowcraig volunteers for the day.
The war on this plant seems to be reaching a critical stage and we’re aiming to hit it hard before it passes the point of no return and we never get rid of it!
If you’re free willing and able to help out then please let me know. We’ll meet at 9.30am as usual but at the car park at Yellowcraig (grid ref. NT515855), about a mile north of the village of Dirleton. Click here for a link to a map. Home time will be 3pm as usual.
