Litter Pick at Gullane Point

group LC2The next volunteer group will be on Wednesday and, in a change to the advertised program, we will be doing a litter pick up around Gullane Point. We were due to be clearing Giant Hogweed plants but, as yet, they haven’t emerged (which makes this task difficult!). So, there is a large amount of litter in the rocky inlets around Gullane Point and some along the beach which we will be clearing up.

Gullane Point is a great place to be at the this time of year with lots of migrant birds passing over and seabirds offshore so we should see some interesting things along the way.

We will meet in the car park at 9.30am and be back by 3pm, as usual. It’s about a 45-minute walk out to Gullane Point. Wellington boots won’t be needed for this one.

Please let me know if you can make it along.
