The next volunteer task will be this Sunday when, in another change to the advertised program because there’s not enough hogweed in the dunes to keep us occupied (this is a good thing!), we will be doing a beach clean. However, this task will take us out west for the first time, at Greencraig. The nature reserve extends all the way round to the east side of Gosford Bay and a lot of litter has collected here.
It’s absolutely great to see so much of the Reserve’s coastline looking so clean after all your hard work and it would be great to give this area a spring clean too.
So, we will have a different meeting point this time, meeting at the back of the old Greencraig Hotel. This is a private road but we have been given permission from the Estate to use it and park at the end. Please give me a phone if you want any directions or information.
We will meet at 9.30am and finish by 3pm, as normal and teas and coffees will be provided.
