We will be surveying plants in the sand dunes on Sunday (17th). This involves walking through the dunes slowly, counting flowers as we go. The marram grass is quite pokey so I’d advise wearing trousers and boots. If we finish this in good time, we’ll start taking down the temporary fence by the Sand Spit, now that the waders are no longer nesting here.
We will meet in the main nature reserve car park at 9.30am and be back by 3pm, as usual. Teas, coffees and biscuits provided. Please let me know if you can make it along.
Also, please note that the date of the Sunday group in November has changed to SUNDAY 20TH NOVEMBER, instead of Sunday 13th.
