A variety of survey and monitoring work is carried out on the nature reserve by staff and there is some opportunity for volunteers to get involved too. If you have skills in a particular area of wildlife surveying or you are very keen and able to devote enough time to it, then you may be just the person we could do with! We currently keep an eye on: birds; plants; butterflies; moths; and amphibians. We are, however, always looking to improve our knowledge of the wildlife using the site so you may be able to advance our knowledge in some area!
