The Royal Quartet

Haddington Concert Society will be featuring The Royal String Quartet* at 7:30 on Sunday 22 March in the Town House. This Polish quartet will be performing Quartet No. 1 [kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/eYzzz4FM7Jg" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]by their compatriot Karol Szymanowski in addition to Haydn‘s “Joke” Quartet Op. 33 No. 2 and Beethoven‘s “Harp” Quartet – Op 74.

  1. Sorry to miss this concert. I will be in Spain. I wish the quartet all the best and love their interpretation of Karol Szymanowski’s quartet.

  2. ps I have found their recording of the Symanowski quartet and ordered t on Amazon.
    You can tell them I am sorry I cannot hear them live…….
