The North Berwick Compassionate Community Team has developed a series of five free online events called ‘Armchair Chats’ from February to June 2021. You may have received an email advertising the five events.
We are now delighted that the link for the Eventbrite page to the first event on February 23rd, at 7pm is available.
The evening of 23rd of February will begin at 7pm with a welcome and update from the Compassionate Community Team. Music, from a local singer, Harley Loudon and poetry, from Hannah Lavery, will flow through the event, with presentations from:
- St Columbas Hospice on the ‘Compassionate Neighbours Project’ which North Berwick Compassionate Community Team will pilot.
- An update on the Truacanta Project, a new initiative run by the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care and funded by Macmillan Cancer Support. The initiative was set up to support local communities across Scotland who are interested in taking community action to improve people’s experiences of death, dying, loss and care.
