Clubgolf 2016

P4/7 class have been practising their golf swings during the last few weeks in very wintery weather conditions! These sessions lead up to Kate Green, the golf coordinator coming into school tomorrow to play the full game down at the park. Well done to everyone and Good Luck tomorrow!

French Creperie

P6&7 have been learning about French foods and how to order in a café. We set up our own French creperie in the playground where we performed our café dialogues, ordered food and made our own crepes.

Emma: I enjoyed learning how to ask for different things in French and making the crepes.
Oliver: The crepes were nice. I had a crepe suzette.
Callum: It was interesting making them, we put too much salt (sel) in!
Jonathan: I enjoyed flipping the crepes. I said, “Je voudrais une crepe suzette.”
Rhuaridh: I had a crepe suzette (sucre et citron).
Lily: I said, “Je voudrais une crepe au chocolat.”
Sam: We wrote a script about the café. It was a conversation between the serveur and the customer.
Finlay: I liked making them. Je voudrais une crepe suzette.
Jonathan: Happy holidays to our French friends in Ecole du Pre de l’Eau.
Emma: We hope you have enjoyed hearing from us because we’ve enjoyed reading yours.
