P1/2 have been very busy in school!
They organised and ran a whole school fundraising event for Children in Need on Friday 17th November 2017. They had to think about organising an event and had to make posters to display all about the school. We had lots of confident individuals who also volunteered to speak at our school assembly to tell the whole school about our fundraising event.
After having a little vote in class, P1/2 decided that they would like their class fundraiser for CiN to be a pyjama day whereby everyone could come to school wearing their pyjamas and donate £1 to our chosen charity! (They also loved that this also meant that Miss Millar and all of the staff would also be coming to school in pyjamas!).
P1/2 also organised a bake sale to raise some additional money. We then also ran a whole school event after break time whereby nursery to P7 pupils were put into mixed groups and were challenged with the task of making the best Pudsey’s! They were all amazing!
We were also lucky enough to have a visit from the photographer from The Courier and our photograph has been chosen to feature on the newspapers website!
Thank you to everyone for their donations (especially our parents, grandparents and friends for the delicious home made treats) and for taking part in our class fundraiser! We can’t wait to find out how much money we have raised!
A big well done Primary 1/2. You all worked extremely well as part of a team and were all superstars!
