On Friday 19th November we had a bake sale for Children in Need.We had a bake sale, which four primary sevens helped with it.We had all diffrent types of cakes which were kindly donated by the parents of Athelstaneford. After the bake sale everyone went into the p6/7 classroom and had a quiz with the headmisstress of Dirleton, Mrs Ogden. The quiz was about Children in Need, everyone had fun doing the quiz and the winners of the quiz then chose to play football. We have also been selling pudsey bear wrist bands to everyone in the school. The wrist bands and bake sale raised a grand total of …

Thank you to Mrs Henderson who helped us with the bake sale and everyone else who has helped us reach this total.

 Well done!

Today we learned all about washing our hands properly.
We washed our hands then looked through a little machine to see where all our germs were – these showed up a purple colour. We discovered a lot of purple around our nails and between our fingers.
It was very interesting!

On Monday we had Taekwon- Do and it was really hard but fun. I learnt to fly kick and do different punches. I was the winner of the competition and I could snap the board.

Mums on the run

Club Golf

The p4/5 did golf at the villige hall the person that taught us was called Ruth. The p4/5 were learing putting and full swing.

To help us do the swing Ruth tould us to think of a clock the swing was from 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock that is called the full swing in club Golf.

The putt is a move in club Golf that if you are close to the hole you just putt the Golf ball in the hole.
